Hello, I can just imagine how nice it would be to sit down and have a conversation with each one of you. We would sip some tea and get to know each other in person while sharing stories about experiences that have formed us in to the person we have become. Since that is not something that will likely happen any time soon here is a bit about myself.
I am in my mid twenties, married and a mother to two wonderful little boys. My family is my inspiration. I became pregnant to my first boy (Alexander) at 18 years old and I can’t forget the looks of judgment and pity I would get from people. I went through a deep depression during my pregnancy. Despite all the people that judge me, my husband was always there for me. When I couldn’t even look at my self in the mirror, he was always there to reassure me and try to lift my spirit. At exactly my 22nd birthday I gave birth to my second baby boy (William). I am such a proud mommy! I love that God entrusted me to take care of these wonderful little beings.
While I was pregnant with William I decided to enroll In to college and study Graphic Design and Web Development. I just recently got my Bachelors Degree in Visual Communications. I felt really proud of my self for this accomplishment because I was the first in my family to graduate from college. I graduated college and I didn’t let having a toddler, being pregnant, and having to ride the bus for two hours to get to school every day stop me. I wanted to go to college so that I could set an example to my children and now they will know that despite many obstacles I had to face I still walked to receive my college diploma and one day they will too.
I have been a follower of Jesus for about 3 years now, (so a guess you could say I’m a newbie) In these past few years I have felt the Lord work wonders in my life. He gave me the will and strength to push through college despite all my setbacks and He healed my heart and soul from so many years of hurt. I could say with true certainty that he has saved my life many times. He has been there in my darkest hours and has helped me overcome many hurdles in my life.
~ Thank you God for always having my back.
I know as a believer I have much to learn and much to experience before I can truly find myself in God. I know He has great plans for me and as long as I let him lead he will take me to wonderful places.
Thank you for stopping by today! I invite you to be part of my journey and spiritual growth. My hope and prayer is that we can grow together in this journey and that you will be inspired and uplifted by my messages I share. My God take you by the hand and release you from your troubles so that you may begin this beautiful journey walking side by side with our Lord.
